In my opinion we should think about what to do with temples in game. I honestly think they shouldn't remain as they are because they have very little to do with Lord of the Rings world and lore. So, either we delete them and don't put them in game or we change their localisation and function in a more suitable way.  Okay

PS: West and East Osgiliath Baronies can be easily taken from this map

Yep!

For the temples, maybe could we change the localisation, so for men/elves/dwarves it could be "House of Tradition" or something like this, and "House of Mathom" for Hobbits maybe?
So the priests will be "Master of Tradition" and could convert a province to his "religion", as we use cultural families as religions too.

For Evil Side, i don't know, maybe some temples, or maybe "Altar" or something like that?

As far as I know this kind of localisations cannot be differentiated between religions.  Neutral
I think we can have only three different temples localisations, the vanilla ones: (Church, Mosque and the pagan one that now i don't remember how is called)

Sounds good. Now what is important is understand how to make a religion use that specific temple name  Question

From paradox forum

Chris93

Is there a way to change the names "City" "Castle" and "Temple" depending on religions/culture?

Konstantinos XV
Yes, you can change names "city" and "castle". Localisation codes are barony_of_greek, city_barony_of_greek and so on.
Religions and cultures, however, are exclusive. And all the religious names (temple, priest, bishop and such) are localised religion-wide in vanilla. So it'll take considerable effort to override these names.

I don't understand the  "Religions and cultures, however, are exclusive. And all the religious names are localised religion-wide in vanilla." part. What does it mean?

Well, in the text1.csv localisation file, we've got all the lines for the temples, like "temple_county_of_muslim" or "temple_barony_of_muslim", so i guess that we can change them to "temple_barony_of_dunedain" for all numenoreans religions?
'll test it this afternoon if you want me to Wink

It would be useful Lon. My pc with my game folders and files is coming back tomorrow. If you have free time do it  Okay
PS: Thus, we can have more suitable names for Orks, Uruk and Goblins! I was thinking "City=Encampment" and "Castle=Stronghold/Fortress" for them

Pelannor province should have Harlond in it as either a castle or city. Also I have a proper Sindar name for Thranduil's Halls that can be for one of the city 'baronies'. Much like Menegroth, but instead of meaning the 'Thousand Caves', it is the 'Hundred Caves', but unfortunately I don't have it with me so will have to wait till I return.

Two new provinces : Barad-Dûr and Dol Amroth, and baronies for some "important" settlements (Erebor/Moria/Rivendell/Minas Tirith/Minas Morgul/Barad-Dûr/Cirith Ungol/Isengard/Dol Amroth/Pelennor/Osgiliath W and E/Edoras/Helm's Deep)
