The Alpha 0.2a will be the next build, certainly ready for the end of the week ! We made a lot of changes, so it'time to make a 0.2 and not a 0.1f Wink
Here's the current changelog :



Middle Earth Project 0.2a

Changelog :
- New map by Redit
- Songs of the album "The Rhovanion Alliance" are now in the mod
- All the flags are now done
- New events for the heirs of Isildur
- New events for elves (sailing to west)
- New trait : "Sailed to West"
- Baronies in all Anorien
- New colours for the de jure kingdoms and empires maps.
- Life expectancy changes for several races
- New coat of arms for several dynasties
- Added localisations for religions/cultures/loading tips
- New cultural names for titles


Known bugs :
- CTD with some Rhun/Haradrim characters

New stuff:


- Added kingdoms of valinor in landed_titles.txt, and rulers for these lands (titular titles, without lands) (e_valinor ruled by Manwë, the others Valar rules kingdom under it, we can possibly adds the elven tribes after that).
- The "sailed to West" characters are now moving for valinor, and can't inherits anymore.
- The Elves and Dwarves get now automatically the traits "elf" and "dwarven".

Lon, could you please put in the cubby the event with which elves and dwarves get those traits? It could be useful for my good/evil events  Okay

It's just a basic thing, if the character is from one of the elven/dwarven cultures, and if he don't got the elf/dwarven trait, he'll gain it. I put it in my cubby Wink

I've just seen it. I asked it because I was curious to see how did you set the event to fire at the start of the game. You have used my same system with good/evil trait:


mean_time_to_happen = { 
days = 1 


In the Paradox forum I read someone talking about a system to create a "startup event", without the mean time that can cause slowdowns sometimes. But I can't find it anymore.  Wink

Yes i used the same code as you, it works fine for now. I've got some slowdowns in the beginning of a game, but after 15 years, no more. So i think we could let it for now, and if you see an other method, we'll change them.  Wink

I've had only a slowdown on the second day. "2 Nimrais" if I don't get wrong. However, nothing importantg  Okay

- Updated Religions and cultures
- Fixed the dwarven female bug
- Removed the celtic hairs and beards for rohirrims

- Bugs with easterlings/istari/ents portraits

BUGS
The game crashes when you press the "Arrange Marriage" button. Probably there's something problem with marriage events?

Yep, it crashes with some haradrim characters, so, when you want to arrange a mariage, you'll loads the haradrim women, so it crashes... I really don't know why!
