It can take me several days to get a complicated event to fire correctly, and this inheritance thing is certainly a complicated event Smile

But it is quite satisfying when it finally does work, however, and of course we learn from our mistakes so it gets easier to script something next time.

I keep on suggesting you to take a look at AGOT's event. They have something similar for the ancestral swords  Mr. Green

Yes, the event files could be useful if i just could find the event text file for items. But i Will at least have a larger look on the thing in Sunday, ok? Because then i have a lot of free time. Tomorrow i also have some time but not much and Saturday is completely out of My list. But i promise i Will look on the subject at least on Friday.

The files are /events/ and then va_swords and valyrian_steel_events. And then also decisions/valyrian_steel_decisions.

But they're quite long so it won't be easy to decipher.

Regular work/obligations comes first, of course. And if you can't get the inheritance one to work, no worries, we can use your help with other easier events as well, there's lots that still needs doing and coding Okay

The inheritance must be in the events/on_action_events file i believe. If someone could have a look at these lines, it'll be great!  Okay

Should be linked to this :
