Well, if we can just remove the possibility for human cultures to marry orkish ones, it'll be great, but i can't find out where the events for weddings are?

I don't think we should restrict evil cult of melkor rulers like that if they're human players... isn't it easier just making an event that solves the issue for the AI rulers by killing the wife? It'll take 10 mins to make, probably.

Yeah, sure, but if the character wants to marry only orcs, he'll search for them always and always... And the event will fire every monthes...

I think it's a hard coded issue, you look for brides in the court of rulers of your own religion, the more powerful the better. Even in vanilla CK II, I think you can marry a muslim if there is one in a christian court, the thing is that it rarely happens because there are events to expel infidels there.  And it's not only orcs, he can also ask the rulers of Harad, Umbar, etc, who are also cult of Melkor for brides and get human ones.

I'll test it, and see how often Sauron gets spammed with marriage offers Smile

It won't help, trust me, the issue is that they are all Cult of Melkor Smile

It'll help with other things such as lowerign marriage between Rohirrim and Gondorians, but I'm fine with that too actually! It shouldn't happen too frequently Okay

Well, i lower it, so we won't have too much weddings between men of different culture group. It's not for rohirrim and gondorian, mostly for Haradrim and Gondorian for exemple. Wink

Another issue is that there are no female cult of melkor women to marry, that's why they seek out orcs Smile Will spawn a few brides of melkor for the evil rulers as well, so they won't be so desperate!

Ok!  Okay
On my side, i'm making a decision and some events to claim the High King of the Noldor.
The decision will needs : the duchy of Rivendell + the kingdom of Eregion + culture_noldor


First event will send a letter to Galadriel in Lorien, to claim the crown.
Second event is for Galadriel : she accept, or she refuse.
Third event, if she accept : the character get the crown, and become the liege of Galadriel
Fourth event, if she refuse : the character got two options : usurp the crown, but he get the trait envious, and Galadriel get a strong claim on the title of Noldor. or he can choose to abandon his claim.

And maybe prestige limitation of 3000 or so? Otherwise, sounds good!

By the way, ever had a mean_time_to_happen = { days = 1 } in an event turn into "combat has lasted at least 1 day" limitation? It says that is the limit in the console, but I don't know why... otherwise the events work fine... but need to fix this.

I doubt it, because the spouse condition is green and triggering, it's the combat has lasted part that is red. The second part of the event below has the exact same problem.

I give up at least for tonight, here is the second part of the event if you want to play around with it... It's really frustratign to have an error like this for a simple event when clearly nothing is wrong Smile
