Hmm... Something in HL screwed those events? Because before I didn't notice any similar lag...

With Purges, things should become more intuitive for the player once I finalize my CB. Still can't tackle that province scope thingy...

I thought it was just horselords at first too, but then I noticed a post from some guy here on the forum mentioning the 20 day slowdown all the way back in March, so that s why I started my investigation.

As for purge, try and hold off on new purge mechanics until you see the ones I made actually work - which hopefully will be soon Smile I think they're pretty good as-is, and it's not really a CB issue is it? Purges should happen any time elves finding themselves under the rule of orcs, and vice versa, and same for edain, dwarves, etc vs the creatures of melkor.

My CB is a way to purge enemies without actually expanding. It would fit Elves and Dunedain Rangers like a glove...

But how can you use a CB (declare war) on your own provinces for example as when Mordor wins and gets eastern gondor and alot of Dunedain that need to be put down?

Oh, you mean you can launch a war of extermination on neighboring realms and turn them into wilderness, but without actually conquering them?

I know we have a steam group and this forum, but I think in some ways a skype devchat works better.

A large part of the Warhammer mod's success is the extremely active skype group chat, which sometimes has 1000 messages per day. It keeps people talking about the mod, and makes it easier for new people to get assignments. Messages also get saved, and then delivered when you're online, which is something that steam is not good at. A discussion could have taken place there, and the people who weren't there will never see it.

Thoughts?
