Maybe the trait Dwarf could give a - 10 opinion towards elves and vice versa.

As Nuku told us, not all the elves are "in war" with dwarves. The Noldor got good relations. So we can't make a malus for all the peoples... I believe that working by events who'll decrease/increase opinion between dwarves and Sindar/Noldor is the best solution, no?

Talking about my "good and evil sides" traits proposal... Would a trait like this work properly? Please, don't be oversevere with me. I've never written a trait  Mr. Green

you have to chang the birth=yes in birth=100, but it looks good for me (but i'm a noob in traits too)

I changed the swords/staffs/jewels/ traits. They're in my cubby, i adds some opinion/prestige modifiers, and decreased the skills bonus!

I have problems with my evil/good side traits proposal. They don't show in game. I'll have to wait for someone more expert in modding  Sad

Did you make the .tga or .dds icon? And did you add it in the interface/traits.gfx ?
