I'm making some decisions with my traits like "giving sword" or "giving ring". 
For now, the swords can be given to the sons (and maybe daughters too).



So, i'll make a list of decisions related to traits here:


- give sword to son (anduril/herugrim/sting/gutwhine/orcrist/glamdring) - events to be done
- give ring to an high elf/maiar/istari (with some restrictions) (narya/nenya/vilya) - To be done
- give narsil to a dunedain - To be done
- Convoke the White Council (leader of the White Council only) - To be done
- Looking in a Palantir - To be done
- give mithril chain to son  - Localisation and events to be done
- give jewellry to son/daughter (elessar/elendilmir/arkenstone/ring of barahir) - events to be done
- give Horn of Gondor to Son - events to be done

Obvioulsy, the staffs of Saruman/Gandalf/Radagast can't be inherited. The Scepters of Annunimas/Steward will be only in case of death/abdication.

You're a genius!  Okay  Would it be possible to create claims related to the Rings or the swords?

Have you ever played AGOT mod? There is a claim (not a decision or an event) against the possessor of certain traits (In that case, Valyrian swords). Anyway I think it could be a decision too:


Plot: Create claim on Narya ring

You're successful in the plot!
A decision pops up:


Claim Nenya ring! (You gain a claim on that ring/sword etc)

Yep, i take inspiration from the AGOT mod for the decisions for swords. 
If you wants to look at it, you're welcome Very Happy if not, i'll make it after i finish all this stuff.

I've got some issues with the decisions for giving an object (a trait) to a character of another dynasty/culture. They don't appears in my decision panel, even if the condition are ok. If you find where i'm wrong, i'll be graceful!

Umm I think FROM should be ROOT and the effects would have to be changed as you didn't change scopes in it

Also there is one error I missed first time the FROM might work i can't recall on descions however you can't have a ward that is over 16 in game that's why it won't show up because the potential can never be fulfilled

Oh yeah, that's a silly error. Which term could i use instead of ward, for someone in the court, or everywhere, the best is to have the decision to give Narsil to another character (the heir of Isildur) even if the character isn't in the province. You think it's possible?

Certainly you could use you 
any_playable_ruler = { 
any_courtier = {
#put conditions ie has trait = heir_of_isuldur
}
}
That should trigger for all coutiers all over

So i have to create a trait "heir of Isildur"? I can't only restrict with the leader of the dynasty?


something like :

That would work I wasn't aware there was a condition for head of dynasty but yep that should work

I don't know for the "is_head_of_dynasty", i never saw that. But it should have a way to select this character, as in the dynasty tree we can choose him?
